Sometime when you realize that the person you like already found the one her love. It  can be the most, not devastating, it’s more like a tornado spin in your dorm room, or a tazmanian devil eat up everything in the dorm, or wild e coyote finally catch up with the road runner. ok probably not the last one. but its not devastating, but close.

It really don’t mean much, it just that you can’t develop a relationship further than friends. which could be a good thing, i am lousy at relationship, for example my last and only relationship with a girl. when i actually good at one, it is usually got to do with logic(fuzzy or otherwise), algebra, set,etc. Yeah, mathematical relation. or programming one.

On the other hand, I can’t really let go of something anyway. No!!! Not her. I got back log of project that i need to work on. OK fine, i wanted to work on, and i can’t really let go of it. Like my thesis, which i passed, or web service, mashup, etc. yes it pretty much got to do with computer. So it is just a matter of which project i wanted to work on. on the other hand, robotics seems interesting.

p.s it is not often i can let go of a person easily, but the strange thing is that, this one is quite easy, or because of the false alarm that i always got my self into.

So here’s the deal, majority of my close friends have graduated. Some which is very close. It is very strange, in college.

Really strange indeed.

dell have just ended their idea storm. the result is that, 70% of the
respondant choose linux. which i thought a bit funny, that MUCH! let’s
hope no one, mess with votes. let’s people not format it with pirated
windows.

oh yeah the result. after the idea stom, it seems
that dell will produce laptops and desktop with linux preinstalled.
which is a good thing, because there is a thing called competition with
windows. which is also a good thing because, i’m linux user, the only
one in town. because it at least produces laptop that is more linux
friendly. they can’t make all the drivers gpl, but make it work is good
enough

now first thing i need to confirm, do they provide the
model in malaysia. because, i am shopping for laptop, ever since it
fried by lightning, and i’m a linux user.

2 days ago, the wireless usb standard is approved by ecma.

wireless usb aka wusb is a new standard where a wireless device is able to connect to computer way faster than bluetooth, which is about 480Mbps at 3 meter and 110Mbps at 10 meter.

in layman term, you know why we don’t connect our digital camera to a computer with a bluetooth and uses a USB instead? because bluetooth is not fast enough. the wireless USB standard means that, we don’t need to use a cable to transfer file between a computer to let say, a digital camera.

in a nutshell, in the future, our personal device, that uses usb, such as mp3 player,camera, phone,memory stick, etc. will probably use, wireless usb instead. while the standard is just being announced 2 days ago, wusb product is already available in the market. and wusb dongle can be used with usb 2.0.

don’t really have presents, except insights of doing my thesis, or writing an Operating System?

i don’t really need anything. i just need not to screw up my life. all i need for my present is an resolve to do just that

i was watching an episode of "south park". which is quite nice, it shows the difference  and similarity between malaysian and americans.

in that episode south park, one of the character accidentally say the N word. and being called a racist. and he do many thing to change it. and even get death threat. and ends up disciminated it self.

like here, american have racial sensitivity too. you don’t go out and use the N word to a african-american. in here, you don’t say a your-favorite-ethnic a you-favorite-not-so-nice-name.

unlike here, as seen in south park. they talk it out, not wrap it like what happen in malaysia.

while it is a good laugh, it shows messages of race, discrimination. one of the meaningful episode that i see.

i have this dream to assemble linux from scratch. just being crazy, i guess. on the other hand. having malaysian own linux is not a bad idea.

i finally found a machine that can run windows vista smoothly.

the machine is about a teraflops, a trillion floating-points  operations per second. current supercomputer is measured in teraflop, except, the top 10 supercomputer in the world is between 50-200 teraflops.

while you probably cannot run, a nuclear simulation, or simulate weather of earth, like current supercomputer. you should be running windows vista smoothly, and more IMPORTANTLY you can get better graphics and performance for GAMES!!!!

let see what happen. i moved to new house, in new room, with mosquito, until i discover the power socket, this morning.

lost the ability to communicate with cousins. or other family members. got uncle interested in linux(hmmm…)

make a 16 months old baby playing need for speed carbon for ps2, oh wait, that because i carry my cousins 16 month son, and i put his hand to control my aston martin(using the ps2 controller)

and more importantly, some strange disease cause me to keep taking the snacks on the table. -_-"

there used to be a time when i just involve in social network thingy, now just check everyday, because i’m board. i mean do we really need like 2-3 social networking account? -_-" that would be me, 2 year back.
